Think before you submit. Try to only submit the deviations that you think are your strongest works. Also, we will not accept your submissions if you submit your whole gallery, try to limit your submissions to the ones that will leave an impression on people.
Please submit to the right folders or tell us if there's a category missing!
Submissions will be quality checked, so please don't submit sketches or half-finished works; submit what you consider the best of your works. Frequently Asked Questions

First of all we would like to thank you for taking the time to provide DA-Revolution with this interview
Max: Tell us a few words about yourself ^^.
Hirukio: My name is Zara, I love drawing and writing, I'm an expert procrastinator, I'm short, I tend to hug people more than they would like to be hugged, I'm rather shy but can be very outspoken at time which are two qualities that seem to contradict each other and when people tell me to say a few words about myself I give them a big chunk of text.
Max: What is the story behind your nickname?
Hirukio: My username is random really. It was something I named my first rpg character and it was all I could think of when I made my deviantArt account
Max: Which are the reasons you have made an account in Deviantart? Which are your expectations?
Hirukio: When I first made my dA account, almost 3 years ago now, I was just starting to draw digitally and was undeniably horrible at it too. A friend suggested I make a deviantArt to get feed back so that I might improve.
I only submitted a few things before my interests floated away elsewhere and I left my account inactive for around two years. This past summer I had some free time on my hands and started drawing digitally again and here I am now. I don't really have many expectations of deviantArt other than they don't sell my art off to the zoo~bad pun~In my opinion deviantArt is the best site for hosting art and I am planning to apply for a volunteer position when I'm a little older.
Max: Could you name some of Your favorite artists (painter, musicians, writers etc)
Hirukio: I admire quite a few artists here on dA since it's were I get the majority of my visual art exposure. To name a few, I love the work of *humon, *purplekecleon, *riingo, *quipi and *KlownCar. When it comes to reading I have a very childish selection of books, my favorite authors are Emily Rodda and C.S lewis.
Max: When and how did you start experimenting with your artistic side?
Hirukio: When I learned to pick up a pencil. I've always loved to draw, but I've only been trying to become decent at it (painting and fine art wise) since around eight months ago when I decided that I wanted to make a career out of it.
Max: What influences do you have?
Hirukio: The weather, school, parents, art block, I suppose just the normal things.
Max: What inspires You?
Hirukio: Music, books, other artists...actually everything I experience really.
Max: What kind of equipment do you use?
Hirukio: Mainly my medium Wacom Bamboo Touch tablet, Paint Tool Sai and Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0.
Max: Of your own work, which has the most meaning to you and why?
Hirukio:
It may not be the best piece I have done, I myself could point out a few mistakes but as well as being my favorite piece of digital artwork it also means a lot to me. Before I got into drawing in an anime style, I went through a period where I drew mostly dragons and at age ten I could draw them better then I do now. I adored drawing something that brings what I loved then and now together, as well as being able to create a cute scene from my favorite movie.
Max: What advice would you give to other Deviants?
Hirukio: I'm not the best at giving advice, however I know from experience that even practicing drawing a tiny bit everyday helps you to improve so much.
Max: Is there anything else you wish to say?
Hirukio: I don't watch anime or read manga. *le gasp*
